Marketing Communication Designer, Senior

Madison, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Remote

Delve is looking for a senior-level graphic or visual communications designer to take ownership of the visual strategy and implementation of our marketing initiatives.

This is an exciting time at Bresslergroup and Delve as we merge our product design and innovation firms into one entity. If you are energized by the prospect of helping establish a new brand and project it out to the world, read on! We need a creative, communication-focused designer who can quickly conceptualize, design, and execute highly impactful visuals that consistently and clearly communicate our current and new brand identities and messaging to prospects, clients, peers, and potential recruits. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Communication team with campaign design ideation and execution, including; assets for website, social media, email, webinars, events, and print; and planning product, employee, and event-related photoshoots for digital features and award submissions. Secondarily you will be supporting the Business Development team by designing and maintaining sales presentations and proposal materials. You will play a large part in the development of a new brand for our merging companies and enforcing brand guidelines once established. In this role, we expect you will bring fresh ideas and senior-level design expertise to all brand-related initiatives, bringing our new brand to life, keeping it consistent across all touchpoints, and helping to evolve and shape it in collaboration with Marketing and Visual Communications teams.

This can be a remote-only position, but a person in one of our office locations (Philadelphia, PA, Boston, MA, Madison, WI, or San Francisco, CA) would be a plus.

We encourage applicants of color and those with diverse lived experiences to apply.

What we’re looking for

If our priorities below are a good match, we’d love to talk with you!

  • You have a desire to support the marketing process at a large product design firm. This is not a typical graphic design agency model so you will be integral in all parts of the design process, from how we’re talking about ourselves and establishing our brand through to doing the design work and exporting assets.
  • You welcome the opportunity to lead and participate in collaborative brainstorming and concept development—we explore and ideate together, so if you need a lot of heads-down time you may not enjoy our style of working.
  • Your experience means graphic design best practices are second nature and you know how to create impactful communications pieces, but you always like to evolve your understanding of what drives audience and engagement in digital, and to a lesser extent in print.
  • You look for inspiration to ensure brands and graphics remain fresh, but know when a brand can flex and adopt a current trend and when trends don’t make sense for the brand position.
  • You have a data-driven mindset balanced by a thirst for experimentation when it comes to choosing the appropriate visual direction for communication pieces.
  • You’re comfortable translating complex, technical processes and topics into clear, compelling visuals.
  • You are motivated by change, and see the pandemic, diversity/equity/inclusion, and the constantly shifting ways we communicate as critical opportunities to adapt how design and marketing are done.

  • Experience designing integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Experience producing storytelling and video communication pieces (could be directing contractors or video production agencies).
  • Brand or rebrand design experience.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts across a variety of disciplines.

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Visual Communications or a related discipline, or similar professional experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience of leading and/or executing marketing communications efforts.
  • Current understanding of digital and social media asset (imagery/video size ratio and limitations) requirements across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube/Vimeo.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; as well as Microsoft PowerPoint. Other presentation tools, like Miro, are a plus.
  • To be considered for this position, you must be located and authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
  • Be inspired. Be inspiring. Be yourself.
  • Delve embraces difference because creativity, curiosity, and diversity drive innovation. We nurture a supportive and inclusive environment. Be yourself and create a future that improves lives.
