With a background in both industrial design and interaction design, my experience ranges from physical products and environments to digital user interfaces and complex systems. I apply my unique combination of skills by visualizing ideas through product sketches, wireframes, journey maps, storyboards, visual design mock-ups, animations and functional prototypes. I strive to be a storyteller, helping clients clearly understand the needs of the user while challenging them to think beyond the standard.

Working with creative, talented individuals while constantly pushing the boundaries of design.
When I’m not designing, you can find me riding anything with two wheels and a motor. Ice hockey has always been a huge part of my life and I continue to play and coach year round. I also have a strong passion for music and am self-taught on guitar, bass, piano and drums.
What is your first memory of design thinking?
There are two memories that have always stuck with me. The first: When I was a child I used to dream of ways to covert normal everyday objects into motorized vehicles. Chairs, buckets, wagons, skateboards, you name it. The second: As a young backseat passenger, I would play a game during the day memorizing the make and model of each passing car. Then at night I would name each car by the oncoming shape of its headlights.
