In the spring, you will find me on the baseball field. Summer is for time at the beach, and winter is for skiing. (the deeper the powder, the better). Anytime is great for a good climb up a mountain and wine and good food with friends and family
What is your first memory of design thinking?
Reading Spin Selling by Neil Rackham and the discussions I had with my mentor and the team at the Center for Sports Innovation at MIT during the time I received my patent in 1998. My mentor their had a philosophy that if you do not understand your potential customer, what their needs are, and what they are willing to spend to solve their issues, prior to beginning a product development program, you are just doing a science project. This has stuck with me through my career.
