What is your first memory of design thinking?
As a sophomore in high school, I pursued a patent application for a shoe radio (yep, brilliant). I didn’t have the money to file for the patent nor the foresight to know that my efforts would be nullified a decade later by the iPod. I created a really uncomfortable to wear and unreliable functioning prototype that you could tune to your favorite AM/FM radio station.
