Delve named Medical Design Excellence Award finalist

Delve and Penumbra were recognized as a Medical Design Excellence Award finalist for our work on the REAL Immersive System, a virtual rehabilitation tool designed for people recovering from strokes.

This is the fourth major design award for the REAL Immersive System, which also received recognition by IDEA, Core 77, and the San Francisco Design Week Awards.

The MDEA Award winners will be announced at a May 3 event. Delve's Matt Bettman, Senior Industrial Designer and San Francisco Studio Lead, will speak at the event about how to design an elegantly simple medical tech product.

MDEA is the premier awards program for the medtech industry. Since its inception in 1998, the mission of the MDEAs has been to recognize significant achievements in medical product design and engineering that improve the quality of healthcare delivery and accessibility.
