Design Concepts adds business development and industrial design capacity to San Francisco office

Design Concepts, Inc., an award-winning innovation and product design consultancy headquartered in Madison, Wis., has added to the on-site capacity of its San Francisco office with the addition of June Cuaresma as a Strategic Account Manager and Matt Bettmanas a Senior Industrial Designer.

Cuaresma earned a Bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. With extensive experience in the health care industry, he has worked in business development roles with companies including Civco Medical Solutions and IBA Dosimetry. Most recently, he worked with Aavid Design in business development and as a design engineer.

Bettman has Bachelor’s degrees in industrial design from San Jose State University and in philosophy from California State University, Chico. While a senior designer at Studio RED, his work was recognized with an IBO Industrial Design Award, an International Design Award, a Residential Systems Resi Award and a CE Pro BEST Award.

In 2014, Design Concepts opened a design office in San Francisco to help serve its thriving client base on the West Coast. Cuaresma and Bettman join a West Coast team including Stefanie Norvaisas, Managing Director; Justen England, San Francisco Studio Lead/Mechanical Engineer; and mechanical engineers Cameron Brock, Cheryl Bauerand Sean Frick.
