Design Concepts leads BarnRaise team

    Sherry Eckholm, Studio Lead-Design and Design Researcher Amy Lee are facilitating a team today as part of BarnRaise Chicago, an event created by IIT Institute of Design.

    During BarnRaise, teams are partnered with a specific company or non-profit who present a real design challenge that they are currently facing. Teams have two days to work on imagining and building solutions, which will lead to a final, public exhibit and the prototypes will be handed over to the partnering organizations.

    The Design Concepts-led team is partnering with HERE, a mapping company, to create solutions on how the company’s digital mapping products can help inform the implementation and adoption of highly automated, self-driving vehicles.
